  “I have been a member of the Academy (formerly known as AASCIN) since 1998. I have sincerely enjoyed the group’s focus and sharing of expertise. I have had an exceptional experience on the nursing program committee with two years as chair and now my Board of Director term is winding down. I have been lucky enough to be selected to do two paper presentations and two poster presentations which enhanced my skills as a presenter. Most importantly it has made me so happy to meet a great group of people from all over the country that I can truly call my friends.
