As COVID-19 continues to impact our daily lives and future plans, we know there are many questions about the plans for the upcoming ASCIP Annual Conference scheduled for September 5-7 in San Diego. Our survey of members and past meeting attendees showed that there is enthusiasm for an in-person meeting this year, and we are excited to provide you with this experience this fall.
However, after careful consideration and numerous conversations with the meeting venue and city, holding the ASCIP Annual Conference in San Diego, CA in early September is not an option.
This decision was not made lightly. There are ongoing travel restrictions in California and uncertainty around when they may be lifted. The good news is, that we are pleased to announce that we will be going to San Diego in 2023, so please mark your calendars.
We recognize that attending ASCIP Conference requires a lot of planning, from booking travel to scheduling time away. The new location and dates will be announced in the coming weeks to give you as much lead time as possible to make your plans. Information about options for virtual participation in the conference will also be made available prior to opening registration in June.
The conference and expo will be held as a hybrid with exhibits and sponsor events provided in both formats. The ASCIP team is currently working on the details of the location of the in-person venue.
The exhibit, sponsor and advertising benefit packages will be modified and updated, and we will send you the details once the venue is finalized. After your review of the benefit revisions if you chose to not participate, a full refund will be optional upon request.
We appreciate and look forward to your continued support of the ASCIP conference and expo.
Thank you for your patience with us as we finalize the plans for the conference – we hope to see you all this fall!
